About this tool
The text is split into Unicode code points and put back together in reverse order. Most letters and simple emoji stay intact. Characters built from several code points, such as flag emoji, emoji with skin tones, or letters written with a separate combining accent, can be split apart when reversed. Line breaks are reversed too, so the last line comes first.
How to use it
- Type or paste text into the input.
- Copy the reversed text from the output.
result = [...text].reverse().join('')
Examples
Word
"SmartKitio" becomes "oitiKtramS".
Palindrome check
"level" reversed is still "level".
FAQ
Can it reverse word order instead of letters?
No. It reverses characters. To reverse the order of lines, use the Text Sorter or Shuffle Lines tools.
Why did an emoji change?
Emoji made of several parts, such as flags or skin tones, are split into their parts when the order is reversed.
Does it work for Arabic?
It reverses the stored character order. Arabic is displayed right-to-left anyway, so the visual result may look unexpected.
