SmartKitio tools run in your browser. Values you type into a calculator or converter, and text, JSON, tokens, passwords, images, or PDFs you use in a tool, are not sent to a SmartKitio server to be stored or processed when the tool can run locally.
Theme preference is saved in local storage on your device so the site can remember light or dark mode. Search queries in the address bar of the search page stay in the URL you choose to share.
Pages include Google’s AdSense script (adsbygoogle.js) and request a display ad unit. Google returns an ad only when the account is allowed to serve one; an empty placement means no ad was returned. Loading that script can let Google and its partners set or read cookies and use an IP address or similar signals, whether or not an ad appears. Values you type into a tool are not sent to Google as part of the calculation. How Google uses data from sites that use its services: How Google uses data.
SmartKitio does not show a consent banner. Visitors in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland generally need a certified consent choice before Google may use cookies for personalized ads. That consent tool is not installed here; it has to be added in AdSense and on the site as a separate step. You can still use Google’s Ad Settings and your browser’s cookie controls. Blocking cookies may limit advertising. It does not stop calculators and other local tools from running.
Automatic background removal downloads a segmentation model and its runtime from public networks the first time you use it: the MediaPipe runtime from jsDelivr, and the model file from Google Cloud Storage. Your photo is processed in the browser after that download and is not uploaded to SmartKitio or to those networks. The download does tell those networks that your browser requested the model. Change Background uses the same model when it cuts a subject out first. The AdSense script is part of the page HTML and asks Google for an ad; a blank placement means none was returned. It is separate from tool processing. Page views are measured with Vercel Web Analytics. That records aggregated visits, pages, referrers, and device details. It does not identify you, and values you type into tools are not part of that measurement.
