About this tool
Each die is rolled independently, and every face is equally likely. The page shows each value and their sum. The number of dice is limited to 1–20 and sides to 2–100; values outside those limits are adjusted to the nearest allowed value.
How to use it
- Set the number of dice and the number of sides.
- Press Generate to roll.
Average total = dice × (sides + 1) ÷ 2

Totals range from 2 to 12. 7 is the most likely total, with a 6 in 36 (about 16.7%) chance.

One 20-sided die gives each number a 5% chance. The average roll is 10.5.

FAQ
Are the dice fair?
Yes. Each face has the same probability, drawn from the browser's cryptographic random generator.
Can I add a modifier like +3?
Not in the tool. Add it to the total yourself.
Can I roll different dice together, like 1d20 + 2d6?
Roll each set separately and add the totals.
