About this tool
Both bounds are included, so a range of 1 to 6 can return 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6. Decimal bounds are rounded inward to whole numbers, and if the minimum is larger than the maximum they are swapped. Numbers come from crypto.getRandomValues with rejection sampling, so every value in the range is equally likely.
How to use it
- Enter the minimum and maximum.
- Press Generate. Press it again for a new number.
Probability of each value = 1 ÷ (max − min + 1)

Raffle
With tickets numbered 1 to 250, each ticket has a 1 in 250 (0.4%) chance.
Percentage roll
1 to 100 gives each value a 1% chance.
FAQ
Can I generate several numbers at once?
Not currently. Press Generate repeatedly; repeats are possible because each draw is independent.
Is it truly random?
It uses the operating system's cryptographically secure random generator, which is suitable for games and informal draws.
Is it suitable for regulated lotteries?
No. Regulated draws have their own certification requirements.
