About this tool
The remaining time is calculated from the browser's clock, so it stays accurate when the tab is in the background. When the time is up, the page plays three short beeps through your device's audio output. Browsers can delay background timers, so the beep may come a little late if the tab is hidden for a long time; keep the tab visible for time-critical use. The duration is entered in seconds: 300 is 5 minutes, and 1500 is 25 minutes.
How to use it
- Enter the duration in seconds.
- Press Start. Pause keeps the remaining time, and Start continues.
- Make sure your volume is on to hear the beep.

FAQ
Why didn't I hear anything?
Check that the device is not muted and the tab is not muted. Some browsers only allow sound after you have clicked on the page, which pressing Start does.
Can I enter minutes?
The field takes seconds. Multiply minutes by 60.
Does it work if I close the tab?
No. The timer only runs while the page is open.
