About this tool
Each size is drawn onto a canvas with the browser’s default scaling and exported as PNG. The 16 and 32 px files are typical favicon sizes; 180×180 is the common apple-touch-icon size. The tool does not produce a multi-size .ico file or an SVG favicon. Start from a simple, high-contrast mark: fine lines disappear at 16 px.
How to use it
- Choose a square PNG or JPEG, ideally at least 180×180.
- Download the three PNG sizes.
- Link them from your HTML, for example rel="icon" for 32×32 and rel="apple-touch-icon" for 180×180.

FAQ
Does it create a .ico file?
No. It exports PNGs. Most modern browsers accept a PNG favicon.
Should the source be square?
Yes. A non-square image is fitted to a square canvas and may look cropped or padded.
Is the image uploaded?
No.
