About this tool

The output includes og:title, og:description, og:type (set to website), and og:url and og:image when you provide them. Values are escaped for HTML attributes. Use an absolute image URL starting with https://; many platforms recommend images around 1200 × 630 pixels. Platforms cache previews, so after changing tags you may need their debugging tools to refresh the cached card.

How to use it

  1. Enter the title and description you want in the preview.
  2. Add the canonical page URL and an absolute image URL.
  3. Copy the tags into the page <head>.

FAQ

Do I also need Twitter card tags?
X (Twitter) falls back to Open Graph tags for title, description, and image. Add twitter:card="summary_large_image" if you want a large image card.
Why is my old image still showing?
The platform has cached the earlier preview. Use its sharing debugger to fetch the page again.
Does Open Graph affect Google rankings?
No. It controls how links look when shared.
