About this tool
The first non-empty line is the header row, and each later line becomes an object keyed by those headers. Quoted fields may contain commas, and doubled quotes ("") inside them become one quote. A UTF-8 byte order mark at the start is removed. All values are kept as strings; numbers and booleans are not converted. Fields that contain line breaks inside quotes are not supported, because the input is split into lines first.

- Copy the JSON, or convert numeric strings in your own code if needed.

Basic table
name,age / Ana,31 becomes [{"name": "Ana", "age": "31"}]; the age stays a string.
Quoted comma
city / "Paris, France" becomes {"city": "Paris, France"}.
FAQ
Why are numbers in quotes?
CSV has no data types, so every value is kept as text. Convert types in your application where you know which columns are numeric.
Does it support semicolon or tab delimiters?
No. Only commas separate fields.
What if a row has fewer cells than the header?
Missing cells become empty strings. Extra cells beyond the header are ignored.
